It is with a heavy heart that I organize this fundraiser.
Please be aware that this fundraiser is the only means of fundraising authorized and approved by the family. This fundraiser is being organized by Melinda Riley the Godmother and Guardian to Dwayne.
On April 2, 2021 Keya Beale was the victim of senseless gun violence in a road rage incident in Hyattsville, MD. Keya was the mother of Dwayne Beale, her 16 year old autistic son. The loss of a parent is hard for anyone, but for a teenage child and to be so unexpected is unimaginable.
Keya was a 50 year old woman born in Washington DC SE, a proud mother, a Howard Graduate class of 1995, a sister, a friend and natural community leader. Keya never met a stranger and had the biggest heart and smile. Her infectious personality facilitated developing life long bonds with people from all walks of life. She was selfless so this loss is devastating to so many people.
All proceeds from this campaign will be used for the health, maintenance, comfort, support and education of Keya's 16 year old son Dwayne Beale in the coming months and years.
