In Memory of Roy Hallak: Support for His Beloved Family

When you think about the great dads out there and overall great men, Roy Hallak comes to mind. His family was his life, and now we all find ourselves lost at his death. Roy was full of life, never met a stranger....everyone that met him felt that they had been friends for life. Roy had friends in all walks of life, he was a Phi Sigma Kappa brother, was a loved employee at Chase Bank for 22 years, and most recently was trying his hand at entrepreneurship as a new business owner of "Wash Me" mobile car wash and his side hustle as Roy the "car guy" with Motorbreeze. He just did not touch the lives of his own family, but also the lives of countless kids as "Coach Roy" for basketball. He was also a credit to his community, trying to bring up and coming businesses into the limelight by having them join the Miami Lakes BNI Excellence group.

His sudden passing leaves a void in the life of his wife, Amabert and his sons Jayden and Logan. Roy was especially proud that Jayden was beginning his first year in high school at his alma matter, Columbus Senior High School. His youngest, Logan just graduated from Kindergarten and was excited about being a big boy in first grade at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School. His heart warming smile could be spotted from a mile away. His larger than life personality could bring happiness and positivity wherever he went. He and his beautiful wife would have been celebrating their 9th wedding anniversary on August 8th. So many dreams and wishes that they had have come to an abrupt halt. Death is never anticipated, but in this instance it was so sudden that no one could have possibly prepared for it. We often say that we are a village, and now, it is our time to come together as a village to help Amabert, Jayden and Logan to start the healing process and bring their lives to a semblance of normalcy....a new normal that brings with it a huge void. Knowing Roy, he would be the first in line to lend a helping hand.
