The Incisive Media Foundation is inviting you to take part in an exciting step challenge this May with the Pacer app. All for a great cause, we are aiming to raise money for our chosen charities simply by walking.
The What:
Goal: 10,000 steps per day per person
Aim: For each active member to raise money for the Incisive Foundation Charities
Duration: 31 days / 310,000 steps (per person)
This is a personal goal to encourage you to walk and run more in May. No pressure but just have fun and see how far you can go!
If you're not able to participate for any reason, we would still appreciate your donation to a very worthy cause.
The Why:
A short walk can go a long way. It’s good for your mind, it's good for your body and it’s good for the environment. Have fun, feel healthier and live greener!
Walking can easily be incorporated into your daily routines. Take the stairs instead of taking the lift. Walk to work or get some fresh air during your lunch break. For many of us, 7,000 steps is just a commute to and from work so we have challenged you at 10,000 to stretch you a bit.
Our delegates and guests at events have been vital in raising funds for the Foundation’s charities, however, we want to challenge ourselves to make a difference for these charities too. This year’s charities include: The Girl’s Network, RedSTART, City to Sea, Victoria Cohen’s Eye Cancer Charitable Trust and Place2Be.
