Save Indigenous Lives in Conflict Zones

Welcome, peace be upon you, my name is Nasir Soodhun and I have been working like many towards the alleviation of the current crisis. Indigene Causes a registered non profit making company. We work along people on the ground such as Dena Musalem, Louay Alfaloji with whom we we have build a relation with through this ordeal. The funds raised will also be entrusted to them.
For months now, I have been working tirelessly to support vulnerable families who have been devastated by the ongoing crisis. What began as helping a handful of families has now grown into a much larger mission, and I am reaching out to you for your support.
Today, we have the opportunity to provide daily meals or even groceries to 100 families (as our connections are scattered throughout Gaza) —approximately 1,000 people (considering 3 generations of one family are living together) —in Gaza. This is a rewarding but ambitious project that cannot be achieved without your help. The cost of feeding these families each day is estimated at $3,500 USD.
Whenever possible grocery will be provided otherwise each meal consists of rice cooked with vegetables, chicken (leg & thigh), and clean drinking water. Due to the ongoing crisis, the price of even basic food items in Gaza has skyrocketed, making every contribution vital. Update Nov 19th 2024 grocery is barely available, not even date fruits - tamr in Arabic (a survival superfood).
Along with our partners we will ensure that every dollar is used solely to provide meals. Whenever possible the food will be prepared daily at a designated camp and distributed to the families in need.
Here are some alarming facts that underscore the urgency of this crisis:
- As of June 2024, 96% of Gaza’s population (2.15 million people) faces acute food insecurity. Nearly half a million people are living in catastrophic conditions.
- Many families in Gaza are going entire days without food, with some resorting to selling trash or exchanging their last belongings just to survive.
- A UNICEF survey revealed that 9 out of 10 children aged 6 months to 2 years suffer from severe food poverty, and 85% of parents report their children have gone without food for an entire day.
This isn’t just about providing meals—it’s about giving hope and dignity to people who have lost everything.
How you can help:
Your support can bring life-saving meals to these families and give children the chance to see another day. Together, we can create a ripple effect of kindness and humanity. Every dollar counts, and your contribution will go directly toward feeding those in need.
Thank you for standing with us in this urgent mission. Together, we can make a difference.
Our broader and short to long term project through Indigene Causes explained here:
We have been in touch with multiple families since the war started and have helped with whatever funds we have had. As you might suspect the work is monumental and your help would be much appreciated; while we ensure all necessary steps have been taken to verify the needy families through video calls, ID check and continuous communication.
These communities, already marginalized, are now facing the devastating impacts of war and displacement, where basic necessities are scarce. At Indigene Causes, we are committed to changing this reality by offering direct aid to those who need it most.
Our Mission:
Indigene Causes is dedicated to helping indigenous communities not just survive, but rebuild and thrive. Our goal is to provide immediate relief and long-term support to families in conflict zones, ensuring they have access to critical resources such as food, medical care, and shelter. We work tirelessly to preserve their dignity and empower them to rebuild their lives.
What We Do:
Your donations will go directly toward providing essential resources to families living in some of the most difficult conditions. Here's how we help:
- Food Security: Ensuring families have access to nutritious meals and clean drinking water.
- Medical Aid: Providing access to healthcare and medical supplies for those who are sick or injured.
- Shelter: Helping families rebuild their homes or providing temporary shelter in the form of tents and other necessities.
- Education Support: Ensuring children and young adults can continue learning even in times of crisis.
How It Works:
- Direct Impact: Your donation will go straight to the families who need it most, allowing us to provide them with the essential items that are often out of reach due to war and displacement.
- Verified Assistance: We work directly with indigenous families, verifying their needs through thorough ID checks, video calls and constant communication. This ensures that your contributions are making a real difference in the lives of real people.
Why This Matters:
In a world where conflict and instability are uprooting entire communities, we believe it is our responsibility to help. Your support can provide a lifeline to families struggling to survive. These are people who have lost everything—homes, livelihoods, and often their loved ones. But with your help, we can provide hope and stability in their time of need.
How You Can Help:
We ask you to join us in supporting these families by making a donation. No amount is too small—every contribution helps provide food, medical care, and shelter for those in desperate need. Your support can be the difference between a family facing despair and finding hope.
