iPads For My K-2 Classroom

Hello.  Thank you for viewing my project.  I am a K-2 teacher in a remote village on the Iditarod trail in Alaska.  Our community is isolated, the only way to travel here is by boat on the Yukon River or via small bush plane.  Our community is very small and economically at a disadvantage.  My K-2 students actively participate in subsistence hunting, fishing and berry picking, even at such a young age, to help support their families with food.  

My class is currently using iPads that are 8+ years old and they are barely functioning.  I utilize learning apps to help support instruction due to the age range in my room as well as the range in ability levels.  The iPads I am currently using have sound issues, screen issue and because they are so out dated the apps we use often crash or are no long available due to the outdated software system.  

I have already raised funds to purchase 3 iPads for next year.  I need 9 more in order to have a class set that includes one for me. 

This fundraiser is specifically for 

9 iPads (5th generation), 9 protective cases and 1 apple tv to allow us to share images and data wirelessly via our projection system. 

They will be used to support instruction in reading, writing and math.
