Jackson Pype/Pype Family assistance
Donation protected
Jackson Pype is a 16 year old boy from Wixom, MI who has been fighting a genetic disease all of his life. After countless surgeries, hospitalizations, and consultations, his doctors have recently determined that his best chance for survival of this disease is to have a bone marrow transplant.
Jackson loves bowling, baseball, golf, animals, and his friends and family. He is brave, kind, funny, and has a uniquely positive outlook on life, despite the challenges that life has given him. Jackson makes the world a better place.
There are several events planned in the coming weeks to try to find Jackson a match for his bone marrow transplant. Those events also have fundraising designed to support Be the Match, which is the organization that helps match donors. This fund is specifically for the Pype families. Jackson's mom Ronda has recently had to resign from her position in order to care for Jackson daily and will not be able to work for the foreseeable future. It is likley that Jackson and his parents will also need to travel to the National Institute for Health in Bethesda, Maryland several times in the coming year for various treatments. Donations to this fund will be given specifically to the Pype families to help offset their loss of income, to help with travel expenses, and to provide for Jackson's needs as they arise. While many have expressed interest in supporting the bone marrow drives, others have asked how they can help Jackson and his family more directly and this is that platform.
Thank you for considering supporting this wonderful family.
