Jacquie Davis Kick Cancer

To start we would like to apologize to any who are learning via this GoFundMe page the journey our beautiful, amazing, silly, zany dear friend Jacquie Davis is about to take.

On Wednesday afternoon Jacquie requested a ride to the hospital because she wasn't feeling well. Tests were performed and within a few hours of entering the hospital, Jacquie was told she was going to need emergency surgery to remove a large mass from the right side of her colon...

Jacquie being who she is took this information in stride and said "Then let's get the show on the road, I want this tube out of my nose..."

They had hoped to perform the surgery on Thursday but a few hiccups got in the way and the surgery occurred at noon on Friday. Before the operation, the doctor informed Jacquie that from what they were seeing this was most certainly cancerous. Yes, the word so many have been blindsided by. Although it hadn't been part of her thought process she took the bombshell as she does with everything else in her life, with such dignity and certainty that she'll kick whatever this is in the ass..

The surgery was as successful as they could hope for. Now is the waiting game to find out what "stage" she is at and what her treatment plan will need to be (because of how quickly they had to move, the normal operation of procedures for diagnosis were bypassed, and will now need to be performed to get a concrete idea of what we are facing).

Although there are still many not known for a while there are some FOR certain things that are known... Jacquie will not be able to return to the job she loves so much for quite some time (the doctors are estimating 6-9 months minimum as of now), she will also be having some kind of treatment that will most likely begin within the month with that end date in the not known category.

With all of this said GoFundMe is being set up to help ease Jacquies mind over her finances.. There isn't much we can do to change any of this but we sure can help ease some unnecessary anxiety.

For so many reasons Jacquie doesn't have the coverage or safety nets many of us are fortunate to have which means she still needs to look after the payments of that cute snappy new-to-her car she has just picked up, the insurance for that snappy car, her rent as well as any other costs she doesn't even know that will probably come her way through treatment....

Anything that you contribute you know WILL BE accepted with great gratitude, humbleness, and the overwhelming love coming her way...and please note that ALL funds will be going directly to her.

If you know this amazing lady this page is the hardest thing she has ever been a part of. She has always led her life with such pride and independence so this is all new to her.. we know not all of you can donate and that's okay, just please send your positive thoughts her way...
