Jay Bland's Funeral Costs
Donation protected
Jay Bland was an active member in the Waterford Township community and graduated from Waterford Mott High School in 1981.
Jay was a family guy, and if he wasn't sleeping, eating or working he was always spending quality time with his closest friends and family. He was a husband of Renee Bland and he was a father of five beautiful children: Jayce Bland, Brianna Cantu, Keaton Bland, Abbeylin Bland and Billy Jack Bland. He was a grandfather to four boys who he loved dearly.
In the summer months for about 25 years you could find Jay coaching little league football at Rotary Park for the Waterford Corsairs. He was passionate about teaching kids how to play as a team and become hard workers. For some of these kids he was more than just a coach, and took on a father type role.
For some Jay was a reliable friend who was there in times of need. He made sure his friends knew he was there for them, and always said in sad times to, "lighten up and laugh, it ain't so bad".
Funds for the funeral service are needed as soon as possible and would be greatly appreciated. Any left over funds will pay for bills while Renee recovers from this devistating loss. Even if you can only give a little, it's still helping towards a good cause.
Final expenses will be in the hands of Lisa Kollinger.
