Jed's 2024-2025 Medical and Integrative Journey

Dear Friends and Family,

After Jed's diagnosis, many of you have asked how to support him. In addition to the calls, texts, and emotional support, some of you have asked about sending gifts.

As Jed is unable to work for the foreseeable future, he has been relying on family to cover his living and medical expenses. However, in going through the research and speaking with people who are living with Jed’s diagnosis, it has become clear that it is very important to use a variety of integrative care approaches beyond the standard radiation and chemo. These include being very specific about what he eats, treatments, and supplements to support his body’s deficiencies during treatment. In addition, we are exploring all available new drug trials and innovative and cutting edge treatments if available.

Jed is literally fighting for his life in every way he can with every ounce of strength he has. He is moving from NYC to CT to be close to family and his amazing support system of friends. He is now under the primary care of Dr Blondin at Yale New Haven Hospital who continues to consult with Dr. Iwamoto at Columbia Hospital. Your support will directly impact his quality of life and his chances of successful treatment and hopefully even extend his life. Knowing people care and want to help will also help provide the emotional support that will strengthen his resolve to fight this horrible illness.
