Jerry Suhr Funeral Expenses

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our father, Jerry Suhr. If you were fortunate enough to meet my Dad, you probably made a friend. He was a wonderful person with a heart so big and generous, it's hard to even put into words. About 7 years ago, after we lost our mom in a sudden and tragic accident, he was trying to make sure that we, his children, would have nothing to worry about when his time came. This was when the high PSA levels were discovered and his cancer journey began. While that test made him ineligible for life insurance, it almost certainly bought us all a lot more time to live, love and laugh together. We are so very grateful for the opportunities we had to make lots of happy memories these past several years. In a few days, we will lay Jerry to rest and it will be so hard but he wants a celebration of him and his life and we intend to give him one. This GoFundMe is to help with the costs associated with that as there is no insurance and my goodness, it is very expensive to have a proper farewell party. If you are able to donate towards this cause, we appreciate every dollar. If you cannot contribute financially, please visit your local Red Cross and donate some blood. This was a cause that our Dad was so passionate about. He was forced to stop donating due to cancer treatments but the number of gallons of blood he donated over the years is mind blowing.
