Jessica Trudell as she recovers from a car accident.

Hi all, I’m Jessica’s sister Rachel. Jessica was driving home from volunteering in Leamington when an animal jumped in front of her car and had to swerve. She lost control of the vehicle and ended up in a ditch on the side of the road. She hit some kind of cement block and had to escape out of the back of the car as it was on fire and she was luckily assisted by some people on the side of the road.

As of typing this, she is in the hospital and our sister Marissa is currently babysitting her son, Parker. She has a broken jaw in two different places and has had a CT scan done, we are awaiting results. She is in immense pain and we do not know how long she will be in the hospital and out of work. I also know how hard it is for Jessica to ask for help. As of now, my family is taking shifts caring for Parker and asking for any help that you can give. I don’t exactly know how much to ask for but we know that Jessica needs some help right now. She is and always has been so giving and I’d really appreciate anyone giving to Jessica this time. Hopefully we can pay some of her bills, groceries, and cover Parker’s care expenses.

update 2: she had surgery on her jaw and is going to be recovering for 6-8 weeks.
