Help Raise Funds for Jewell W. Heffenger's Funeral Services

Hello! Thank you for viewing our fundraising page. 


We are fundraising for our grandmother’s funeral and memorial arrangements since we discovered two weeks before she passed that she gave her plot to her daughter, Marsha, who passed away on 04/15/2003 and did not have an active life insurance policy. 


Our deadline is June 6th since that is the last (extended) date we can have her viewing and services.

With no fear or tears, she said she wanted to look like a DIVA wearing pink and white on the day of her funeral! Aside from that, her wish was to be buried next to her daughter. However, we quickly learned it’s extremely costly without life insurance. 



So, we are doing our best to make the burial happen - but at a minimum - our priority is to put her to rest no matter what the arrangements may be.



Any external funding received will be adjusted from this GoFundMe page so everyone knows our remaining needs at all times.

Our grandmother was a funny, loving, and caring woman who would help those in need if she was able, always calling everyone “baby”! And when you made her laugh she'd say, "Oh, you tickle me!"

With a prior career singing overseas in Japan and living in the same housing establishment in Denver for 30 years, she was known by many and loved by even more - and always dressed to impress!

She owned countless vinyl records and our mother added she was "vibrant, loved to sing and listen to her jazz!" while also "enjoying her time with friends, having family gatherings, laughing, talking, and taking lots of pictures. She was a true Diva!!"
