Join KC's Fight Against Stage 4 Melanoma

My name is Amy, i am setting this account up for my very best friend KC fraim. This woman has been through it and then some. For those of you that don’t know, she was diagnosed with cancer on her birthday of all days. She has been fighting hard since then and experienced some pretty major set backs but mentally the girl is still kicking butt!!

KC was diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma back in February.  Immunotherapy treatments were started right away.  She was only able to get through 3 treatments.  Her lungs have not been able to handle the treatments and ended up in the hospital after her 2nd and 3rd treatments. 

The doctors have spent the last month and a half trying to get her lungs built back up with medication, but they have not been able to get them where they need to be and have decided that immunotherapy is no longer an option.  The next step will be TILS.  They will take her T-Cells out and they will be sent to a lab to multiply them. She will have to go through chemotherapy to wipe her system out and then put back her built up T-cells with the hopes that it will decrease the cancer or put her in remission.  However, her lungs still need to be good before they can start this treatment. She will be seeing a pulmonologist in hopes that the treatments he has will get her lungs strong enough to move forward in the treatment.  Hopefully in August they can start the TILS but she will need to stay near the hospital throughout the treatment which will take approximately a month.  

She has been out of work since the end of April.  With the upcoming expenses and growing expenses of being out of work. We are asking for help along with continued prayers and positive thoughts.  

Any amount of help would be greatly appreciated. KC has a lot on her plate and she doesn’t ask for help lightly. This girl is one of the most incredible people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and I know that she is going to continue to fight and beat this thing!!
