Jordan in Paris!
Take a group of Austin area youth that meet every Tuesday and Thursday, put them on a film set for two weekends and have them shoot from 6:00 A.M. To 5:00 P.M.
Add in actors, film equipment and a production crew that consists of only those Austin area youth, and they create a finished product entitled LIP SERVICE.
What do you get? The Cinema Du Cannes project.
LIP SERVICE - as a part of the Black Lives Black Stories Matter edition - has been invited to screen at the 2015 Diversity in Cannes Short Film Showcase in France!
Its an opportunity to not only screen and advertise our film, but to network with other proffessionals in the film world and gain experience that not many other young people can say they have.
How can I go on this trip you ask? Well that's where you come in.
I'm currently asking my family, friends, friends of friends (heck - even haters can donate!) to help me raise money to cover my portion of the trip. I need to raise $1500 (tax-deductible with all proceeds going to the Harvest Foundation) to cover my travel, hotel and food for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
Thanks in advance for ANY assistance you are able to provide. NOW, LET'S RAISE THAT MONEY!
