I teach amazing students – many of them have the talent and love of music to get college scholarships. Some just need lessons to escape – some come from troubled home environments. In 7 years of teaching, I have never turned a student away because they can’t afford lessons. Some students pay half, some pay occasionally, some have never paid a dime.
In the current 2017/2018 school year I have taught over $3,000 worth of free lessons. This policy has made it difficult for me teach and still meet my own financial obligations.
I am looking for support for my students in need. My fees are $25 = 1 lesson, so a gift of $100 = 1 full month for one student.
Money goes towards lesson fees, materials, sheet music, and hopefully studio rent in the future. My goal is to catch up on missed payments for this year, then at $2,000/month we would cover tuition and supplies for 18 students. Let's join together to be the village that supports these kids
