Support for Stacy's Family in Difficult Times

My name is Chelsey Wilkes. I am the niece of Stacy and Paige Colbert. I am organizing this GoFundMe in honor of Stacy, and on behalf of Paige and her girls, Jordyn and Morgan.

On Friday, June 28th, 2024, Paige and her girls had to say goodbye to their beloved husband and father, the rock of their home. As you all can imagine, this has turned their whole world upside down. It’s hard enough to pick up the pieces emotionally, but the financial burden weighs heavily on a family after a loss such as this.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Stacy’s honor to go toward Jordyn and Morgan’s future needs, and to help the family as they navigate life without Stacy.

Mr. Stacy “Tweety” Colbert, age 51, of Farm Road, Trion, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly Friday afternoon, June 28, 2024, from a sudden attack. He was born in Rome, Georgia on April 20, 1973, the Son of Debbie Gilleland Turner and Gary Colbert. He was a graduate of Trion High School, an insurance adjuster, and farmer. Stacy was preceded in death by a sister, the late Carrie Colbert and step father, the late Tony Gilleland.

Surviving are His wife, Paige Colbert; mother, Debbie Gilleland Turner; father, Gary Colbert; daughters, Jordyn Colbert and Morgan Colbert; several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins also survive.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 3rd, at 12:00 noon from the Beersheba Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 until 8 P.M. at Earle Rainwater Funeral Home; also visitation Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until noon at the Church.
