Kayelin Rider Downey, 2008 - 2024

Kayelin's life was marked by challenges he courageously faced from the moment he came into this world. Despite adversity, he showed an unwavering tenacity to survive and thrive. Tragically, on a sunny Saturday, June 15th, Kayelin's life was cut short in a senseless act of violence, witnessed by his loved ones.

Kayelin was only 16 years old, but in his short life, he was unapologetically himself for the good, for the challenging, and for everything possible in between. Now, as we mourn his untimely passing, we aim to give him the peaceful rest he deserves. We're reaching out to our community for support to fund Kayelin's funeral, burial and a memorial headstone that will honor his memory.
