Help Heat my Himalayan Village

Can you imagine a Mt Everest without human generated litter and trash that now blankets it?Imagine a small remote village having the collective wisdom to implement an eco-friendly waste management system. And then imagine the waste management system is enhanced to create bio-fuels. Bio-gas that eliminates the black smoke that fills the poorly ventilated kitchens currently. And removes the cause of respiratory problems for women and children in the village.

Help my village Khati move from firewood to bio-gas. As I grow up, I want to be able to spend more time in school, not out collecting firewood everyday. And I want my mother to be able to cook without inhaling smoke. And this gas can be used to cook, to heat our homes in winter and, may be even for electricity.  We are also going on a zero waste campaign ?? Can zero be good? Our kitchen waste will be composted with worms...yuck...and then used in the farms.  And, we even have to put candy wrappers and plastic bottles in special bins! Our friends are bringing us better shoes for all our hard work to set up this system. Shoes that won't slip on the mountain slopes, and that won't get wet easily - :) :)

My friends will tell you the rest of the story! I've to go play now. Your dollars will go to buy these shoes, the supplies for the project and the travel and accomodation costs for the people who'll show us how to set up this plant. 
Do help get my friends and those shoes  to my home.
My home is 4 kilometres from the nearest road,  we use mules to carry things in :) My  friends  can't call me - no phones where I live :)
