Klimbing For Kids

My name is Chrissie Sitarski. I’m excited to announce that I have accepted the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to support orphans’ dreams through Haven of Hope International’s Klimbing for Kids Campaign. It will be an eight-day venture in the remote wilderness that will test me mentally and physically. By climbing, my goal is to raise awareness of the obstacles orphans endure as they age out of care and raise funds to support them. In addition, I want to show these kids how much I care and how much others do too. Together we can give them hope! I am not a hiker or climber, but I am willing to go outside of my comfort zone to help them. I want to prove to them that no matter where they come from and what obstacles they face, their dreams are still possible.

We have several fundraisers to raise money for the HOHI’s Futures of Hope Program. This program provides funding for transition programs and includes vocational and educational grants. http://bit.ly/HOHIFuturesofHope

I can’t wait to meet the children and let them know I’m climbing Mt Kilimanjaro for them. But first I have to get there! So this GoFundMe is to help cover my hiking gear and travel expenses.
