Help Evacuate my family from Gaza

Hello,

My name is Dalal. I am a Palestinian living in Northern Ireland. I was born in Gaza and finished my university degree from there. With great sadness, I am reaching out to you today for help in getting my family members out of Gaza to Egypt.

My family has endured treacherous conditions and unimaginable hardship for over five months now. Every day that they remain in Gaza is a terrifying reality of them not surviving the next bombing. As conditions deteriorate and their lives are threatened daily, this is an urgent plea for help.

Both myself and my husband have our immediate families living in Gaza. We fear for their life every single minute. So far, we both lost more than 70 of both our families with more to die if this genocide continues. Our families are scattered in UNRWA schools facing starvation with no water or food. It’s extremely difficult to communicate as electricity and telecommunications are down most of the time. This is the worst war that we have faced in our life with Israeli genocide targeting civilians. With the situation in Rafah so catastrophic that they can’t even find a tent or a safe place to be in.

Both my sister’s house and my brother in law’s house were completely destroyed in this war. They were forced to relocate to the south of Gaza. Our family house in south of Gaza was itself bombed by Israel in 2014 and I lost my brother Osama, the youngest in the family at age 14. My other brother and father were badly injured and were hospitalized for months and had multiple major surgeries to save both of them.

My mother with chronic medical conditions is not able to find her daily medicine for months. My eldest brother is completely disabled with cerebral palsy and my other brother who was badly injured in the previous war on Gaza in 2014 is also disabled.

With more than thirty people living in a small house (Mother, father, two brothers, two sisters, my sister’s family with her children, my two other brothers and their children) my entire family is witnessing death and destruction around them every minute with constant explosions of bombs I can’t bear to lose any more of my family.

I am reaching out to you to raise funds that will allow them to escape these catastrophic conditions. The goal is to relocate them to a safe place outside of Gaza and away from imminent danger. They are being asked by the Egyptian Hala company to pay 5000 USD per adult and 2500 per child to be allowed to leave Gaza and just cross the border.
