Koa Pezario - Christmas Morning Fire
Donation protected
Hello All - My name is Casey Munoz and am a WAXIE Sales Manager based out of San Diego, CA. In February 2022, I had the pleasure of meeting an outstanding young man by the name of Koa Pezario. At the time, Koa was a Senior at San Diego State University and was scheduled to graduate in the Fall of 2022.
Koa joined the WAXIE family as a Sales Intern in June and was officially promoted to Account Consultant in September of 2022.
In December, while working full-time, Koa finished his last finals at SDSU and headed home to Fresno for the holidays to celebrate with his family.
On Christmas morning he received a phone call from his roommate that the construction site next to their house had caught fire. With the proximity of their house to the construction site, their house was suddenly engulfed in flames. While his roommate was able to escape safely, their house is uninhabitable and all of their belongings were lost in the blaze.
In the face of this tragedy - Koa has kept a positive outlook and even stated that he is going to "start the year fresh". If you know Koa, you know he said it with a smile.
Koa is not the type of guy to ask for help but at 23 years old and freshly out of college - he could use some help here. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and would certainly help him get back on his feet.
Thank you all and Happy Holidays.
