Kyle Downes memorial

Life is a million moments and a million emotions. Some moments are full of joy and others are full of pain and sorrow. On the morning of July 18th 2021, the life of Kyle Downes was taken far too soon. The pain that has followed is one that every parent hopes to never feel, and can never be prepared for.

One of the best parts of being human is other humans, and Kyle was the person who made your life richer just because of his presence in it. He was truly one in a million. Kyle had just turned 17, and was looking forward to his Senior year at Buckeye Union High School. Kyle was a son to be proud of, a brother to protect you always, and a friend who was always available to listen when you needed it. He was a young man quick to lend a helping hand to anyone. He was as skilled on the off-road racetrack as in the show ring with his Durocs. He could match up with the best on the football field, and even help you build a barn from start to finish. Kyle lived well and lived fully, being a wonderful son, brother, nephew, grandson, cousin and friend. He cherished his family deeply, and all who knew him will feel his absence greatly. Kyle could always make you smile, and was quick to flash his somewhat shy grin that quickly became a smile that radiated from his entire face.

Our hearts ache with Kyle’s absence and several have reached out to see if there is any way they can support the family during this very difficult time. Prayers are always welcomed, and a Go Fund Me has been set up to provide financial support as well.

Celebration of Life Services will be held Tuesday July 27th at 10am at the LDS Church located at 25800 W Southern Ave. Buckeye, AZ 85326
