In January 2015 I was selected to represent the United States at the 2015 Summer Universiade, or World University Games in Gwangju, South Korea. I will once again be representing the US in international competition and I am very grateful for this second oppurtunity to race in the Red, White, and Blue again.
Rowing for the US is unique and unlike other countries most of the athletes have to completely pay their way to their event unless they are in priority Olympic Boats such as the Mens 8+ and Mens 4+ on the Senior National Team.
The cost for my trip is going to be roughly 1,600 dollars for my ticket to South Korea. The rest of the expenses will go towards the living situation in Michigan where we will be training throughout the month of June before the team departs for the games, as well as any additional expenses and fees that are required to participate.
I'm very thankful to have this oppurtunity, any donation you can make will go a long way towards helping make my dream possible.
Thank You!
