Tacoma, let's ensure our most vulnerable students in the K-8th grade stay in the game during this public health crisis and avoid the summer slide.  School building will be closed for the rest of the 2019-2020 school year and many families do not have computers for students to continue learning online with peers. Help Fahren Johnson, organizing in partnership with the Tacoma Urban League and Office Depot, build a more equitable learning space for all our students by donating today.


Fahren has worked with elementary school families and school staff to identify families in need of technology supports. These devices will help children who are not meeting standards in English and Math by connecting them to valuable online learning tools they will otherwise not have access to.  Our goal is to distribute 100 devices to Tacoma Public Schools students. Together, we have set up 26 families with online learning, but there are more in need.  Donations can stay anonymous or a donation letter can be provided at request. Office Depot will also offer discounts to PTA families for devices and school supplies. Visit the below link to learn more about discounts for PTA involved families!
