Larry's Medical Fund

Hello, my name is Claire, my brothers and I are asking for your help this holiday season. Our loving father, Lawrence Leigh Bader, an Air Force Vet who served during the Vietnam Era, has suffered from a severe stroke, which then converted into an intracerebral hemorrhage leaving the left side of his body paralyzed, and his vision impaired. He currently cannot walk and needs total assistance when bathing and eating- simple things which most of us take for granted.
He was found in his apartment completely unconscious, with cuts and blood all over his body from falling for hours, and a blackeye. We are extremely lucky and grateful that he was found by his neighbor. He was rushed to the hospital and placed in ICU for a week. He is now going to an acute rehab center before moving to an assisted living facility.
We have a very small family here in the United States, and cannot cover all of the bills ourselves. Our father has worked in the medical field for over 30 years and is one of the most loving, respectful, kindest human beings I know. Anyone who meets him falls in love with his sense of humor and pure kindness.
Lawrence is a great father and person, always willing to help. He is always donating to different charities and causes, even in the times he struggled himself. We are now asking for him to be helped in the way that he has spent his life helping others.
ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated. We need immediate help covering his car payments, hospital bills and assisted living care. Even if you cannot donate much, it means a lot to us.
