In memory of Leslie Jean Lewis

I’m raising funds for the funeral of my mother, Leslie Lewis. She was a disabled Army Veteran, who passed unexpectedly on the 19th of February, 2024. Growing up, my mom was my hero, my safe space, & my best friend. She was full of love, and would go out of her way to make someone smile. People that knew her remember her being a bright, giving woman. A song I remember her loving was “Strawberry Wine” by Deanna Carter. We would sing it together, & when she left for basic training I would listen to it to feel close to her. I still belt the song around my house, and now I’ll always remember her when I listen to it. She was not dealt the easiest life, and I wish for nothing more than her to have found peace and happiness wherever she is now. She truly deserves to be happy.

I am a mom of two, and don’t have the funds to cover her funeral costs. I would greatly appreciate anything to help ease this financial burden while I grieve my mother.
