Let's clear Amber's bucket list!

Hello Everyone,

I have fund raised before on here for my daughter who was battling triple negative invasive breast cancer. She got some great help out here and within our community, thank you all so much. Unfortunately, Amber got not quite three years of remission and now the cancer is back and it has invaded her lung. The doctors told Amber a couple of days ago that not only will she be on chemotherapy for the rest of her life, her life is expected to be only a year longer, if we're lucky. That is not to say that we have given up in any measure of the words, we will expect the worst and hope for the best. Amber is strong and she will fight this to her last drop of strength and we are hoping for her to give us many years. In light of this diagnosis, we have decided to try to help Amber clear her bucket list and one of her biggest dreams is to travel and see our great nation. I, myself have battled cancer and am in remission currently, but it left me unable to work and so we are a single income home and do not have the funds at our disposal to make these dreams come true for her. She is applying for make a wish adults, but we don't know if she will be approved, or how long the process is. We are planning a trip to go out east to Newfoundland for early June so she can see the icebergs and puffins. It's planned for then because we do not know what medical condition Amber will be in and so time is of the essence and we need to move as quickly as we can with plans. This cancer is very aggressive and can spread at anytime without many more symptoms than she is already experiencing. Once it spreads, we will be out of time. Time to express and share our love, time to make more memories, time to talk, to hug, to laugh together. Amber is about to turn just 30 young years, and we want to make the time she has left the best it can be for her and for us. I can't imagine saying goodbye to my baby girl, but it's out of my hands and when the time comes I want to know she knows how much she is loved and will be missed. This is one way we can make that happen.
