Let's help Sue pay for her chemo

Susan Bridger has always been there for others – and now we have an opportunity to be there for our dear friend.
Susan’s breast cancer reemerged a year ago and she has now exhausted conventional chemotherapy options. Her doctors have placed her on an experimental round of chemotherapy that holds promise - but is expensive and not covered by BC’s medical system.
It’s a drug normally used for renal cancer – and costs $8,000 per month. We pray that it works. If it does not, there is one other experimental option – but, again, it costs another $8,000 per month and is not covered.
Susan’s daughters, Emily and Claire, were 10 and 11 when she lost her husband. Today, she is a loving grandmother to Claire’s six month old daughter Aliana and she’s helping plan Emily’s wedding at the end of July.
Let’s all pitch in to take the financial burden of these potentially life-saving chemotherapy drugs off Susan’s shoulders and help speed her on her journey to recovery.
