In six short months, we've come a long way! From inital sketches to prototypes in hand, from scouring trade shows for just the right mill to work with, to having fabric on the way from Italy - Lisa Aviva's lifelong dream of designing a luxury plus-size collection is coming to life!
We've accomplished so much already and with the funds raised through this campaign - we are excited to grow the company in several ways, including: creating an e-commerce solution that will allow plus-size women the opportunity to purchase the collection regardless of their location.
With a goal of raising $40,000 by the end of 2015, Lisa Aviva will also be able to cover production for the Fall 2016 launch date, freeing up funds to invest in Spring 2017! As well, Lisa Aviva will be able to do the marketing necessary to reach the fabulous women sizes 10+ that have already expressed an interest in the collection.
With a well known Plus-Size Model Photographer already on board to shoot our Fall 2016 campaign - contributors to this fundraiser have the very special opportunity to join us on set for the next photo shoot! For those who are familiar with crowdfunding - we've chosen GoFundMe for our crowdfunding campaign as we are currently raising funds for development.
Launching Lisa Aviva is a dream come true for the namesake owner - an accomplished Designer and a plus-size woman. Having spent the past few years making the dreams of others come true, Lisa Aviva is incredibly grateful for all of the support she has received regarding the new collection and can't wait to share her vision with you!

***Please note: Donors are welcome to gift their rewards to the recipient of their choice. As well, reward levels that include activities require donors to cover their own travel and accomodation expenses.
***All custom designed clothing and accessories will be designed in available fabrics and hides from the A/W 16/17 Collection. In-person fittings will take place in Toronto, Canada or New York, USA. Clothing and accessories may be custom designed without an in-person fitting, with communication online and/or by phone.
