Lighting Up Lives
Donation protected
Liter of Light is a global movement and foundation fighting energy poverty by offering open-source light solutions to people living in the dark in over 30 countries around the world.
We are proudly a UN representative of the Global Goal #7 for Sustainable Development, providing affordable, renewable, and sustainable energy.
Liter of Light USA is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization committed to telling the story of more than one billion people around the world who suffer from the debilitating effects of energy poverty.
Our US chapter coordinates and supports the global work of Liter of Light while developing educational and volunteering programs in schools, universities, corporate companies, and general community groups to promote engagement and participation.
Leading our strategic and educational activities within the country is our Program Officer, Alanna Sousa , an Atlas Corps Fellow working with us on a full-time basis. To keep our partnership with Atlas Corps and have her coordinating our national programs until June 2017, we need to raise $15,000.
We received a special offer from an anonymous donor who will generously match dollar-to-dollar contributions for any amount we raise (up to a certain amount) in this campaign.
Please help us take advantage of this unique opportunity and contribute with any amount you can by December 31.
