Liz Meyers - Harvey Help GoFundme

 Liz Meyers and I met in college and like many other people, she has had my back for as long as I can remember.  She hosted my wedding and baby shower,  sang at my wedding, attended my kids birthday parties, offered my sister, Cathy Montz, a new career path and employed my brother,  Drew Montz, as her realtor.  Now it's my turn to do all I can to help Liz get back on her feet so she can go back to doing what she loves,  helping others!  

Liz Meyers, along with so many others in our city, is struggling to find her path forward as she faces the damage over 6 feet of standing water impacted on her home and her life. Harvey’s visit combined with the decision area officials made to release floodwaters downstream from the Barker reservoir stripped Liz of her home and nearly all of her personal possession s. Liz didn’t have the chance to relocate any personal items to higher ground, nor did she have the opportunity to take a boat in after the storm passed to recover some possessions.  You see, it was her decision to take her elderly mother to Dallas for her safety and well-being during the storm.  Sadly, Liz could never have imagined the devastation she’d experience the next time she returned home 

Liz has always welcomed guests into her home, as many will attest too.  In fact, there is no telling how many people she lovingly hosted and welcom ed into her home over the years.  Now, I am appealing  to you and to all on Liz's friends to  consider contributing to a GoFundMe account for Liz Meyers.  Of course, Liz is too proud to ask for financial help but with the encouragement from several friends, she agreed to let friends who want to help do so.   

Liz has so many unknowns right now... the one thing she can be sure of is that we have her back. Anything that anyone can contribute would be very helpful and much appreciated.
