LVAD Heart Transplant Expenses

Greetings:

My name is Marcus Reynolds. In 2019 I contracted a virus infection which significantly weakened my heart. This happened during Covid which drastically changed my life. My fiancé was pregnant with our daughter. Gods Mercy has is the reason for my recovery. I’m grateful to be alive and receive care from Henry Ford Hospital of Detroit. My family is from Grand Rapids, Michigan which is 2.5 hrs from Detroit. The requirements for after care is me and the care giver to stay one month in the area after the surgery. The hotel cost without me being able to work is too much. We must fulfill three appointments per week and be close in case of emergency due to complications. This is of great importance because it’s a transitional solution to a new heart once one is available. Also it gives me a renewed quality of life to spend with family. The gifts and donations will be used for nearby hotel stay and travel while recovering from the surgery. Please keep my family in your prayers and thank you any blessings you can give.
