Macy’s Medical & Recovery Costs

Hi All,

I am fundraising for our Woof Gang Rescue girl, Macy (fka French Braid).

In early June, Macy’s babysitter/walker came over to visit her. On that day, her walker brought another dog to her home, without her owners knowledge. The dog got loose and attacked Macy in the front yard. Macy was bit in the neck, face, head, legs, and eye. She was seen at the emergency vet and sent home that day.

Since the attack, Macy has had to start taking anti-anxiety medication due to her fear of nearly everything now. She has also been seeing a behavioral therapist for the last couple months, and she is making great progress.

Due to the fact that this incident happened on our property, it turns out that we are responsible for all the costs and cannot seek damages from the dog walker.

Any and all funds will go towards paying off Macy’s medical bills, and the cost of her extensive behavioral therapy program.

Macy is the sweetest girl and really deserves the best resources to help her back to the dog she was before she was put in this situation.
