Malibu Fires Disaster relief Fund
Donation protected
We were successfully able to deliver greatly needed emergency supplies by boat 4 days straight. The Firefighters made tremendous progress this week. We will no longer be doing emergency supply runs via boat.
We are committed to doing as much as we can to help so for the next 48 hours we’re rallying our South Bay community and to donate as many supplies needed as possible. We are using this platform to now raise the funds for the higher ticket items that are greatly needed (generators, air purifiers). We will be driving a caravan of big uhaul trucks and pick up trucks packed with supplies. We will also be meeting and supplying those families most in need.
Our new donation loacation is:
Von Lintel Shop/Studios
11846 Prairie Ave
Hawthorne, CA. 90250
If you can physically drop off supplies here, the following are the most needed:
Gas cans, gas cans filled (unleaded), generator oil, heavy duty extension cords, surge protectors, particulate masks, none perishable food.

Having spenthe last 20 years in the SouthBay as an avid surfer and board builder I’m part of the Malibu community. Many of my friends and family don’t just surf here, they live here. Until this past weekend I had no idea how bad the situation is for so many affected by these fires. After seeing some video of the devastation and homes completely destroyed of areas I knew in my heart, I decided to take action. Late this past Saturday night with the help of just a couple other fellow passionate Friends we put our own mission into place. Within 12 hours we organized a supply run of much needed emergency supplies and goods. Many of the residents in Malibu are completely isolated and cut off because PCH is closed and looks to remain that way while the fires continue to burn. We were able to get the use of a friends 40’ sport boat and the mission was on. Yesterday we successfully delivered our first run of emergency supplies to Malibu.
My mission is to continue this!
We will be making daily boat trips to deliver the necessary supplies needed to those in need.
Yes, There are other ways to donate, but this way the funds raised are immediately put to use helping those in need most! The funds will cover purchases of supplies desperately needed but not already donated, like fuel and horse feed (lots of Malibu residents have horses that are either displaced or running low on food or both).
Our South Bay is currently rallying together to help our friends in Malibu. Body Glove has stepped up and is even organizing a massive delivery for this Wednesday in their biggest boat. If you want to physically drop off any donations of supplies,
Dive n Surf shop located at
504 N Broadway, Redondo Beach, CA 9077 is set up as a donation center for these boat runs.
