Mamquam River campground
Donation protected
The Mamquam River Access Society (MRAS) is in the process of fundraising to build a not-for-profit campground on 8 acres of Crown land beside the Mamquam River in Squamish. This vision began in 2013 when we ‘connected the dots’ on land-use while recognizing Squamish’s need for affordable camping.
This campground will meet a significant need in Squamish for an affordable camping option while also providing opportunities for youth and individuals with different abilities to gain work experience, contribute to the community and foster healthy relationships through their connection to positive social networks.
The donations received from this crowd-funding campaign will go directly to building crucial
infrastructure in hopes of opening up this summer.
Wish List;
-Electricity to turn the lights on
-Animal proof food storage
-Signage
-Etc
Thank you so much for your time and support
