March for Science Tucson
Donation protected
The best way to ensure science will influence policy is to encourage people to appreciate and engage with science. That can only happen through education, communication, and ties of mutual respect between scientists and their communities — the paths of communication must go both ways. There has too long been a divide between the scientific community and the public - and now the political arena.
Help us help our community of Tucson understand how science is used every day. We will march and rally with speakers, postcard signings, booths for demonstration and display. Sure to help us all feel solidarity toward this goal in America.
The March for Science - Tucson will begin at DeAnza Park (Speedway and Stone) - Marching down Stone Ave to El Presidio Park , where the Science Outreach Event will take place.
