Maria Rehill’s ongoing battle with cancer !

Hi, my name is Jessica and I created this go fund me for my Godmother Maria Rehill.

Some people may know, Allot still do not but Maria has been fighting cancer for almost 10 months now !!

In April 2023 Maria discovered a lump on her breast, that is when she found out she had breast cancer. She fought through and continued to work until the end of September.

Maria started chemotherapy in October for her breast cancer which was then at a stage 3. As if things couldn’t get any worse, while getting a PET-CT scan 2 more spots were detected in her abdomen.

One spot on her left side which is currently at a stage 2 and one spot in the right side which is currently at a stage 3, the abdominal cancer is also affecting her liver.

Maria has 4 more rounds of chemotherapy to go for the breast cancer, which is currently at a stage 2.

After Chemotherapy is complete they will make a plan on what to do for the abdominal cancer, whether it be treatment or surgery is still uncertain yet, we will know more after the next PET-CT scan.

Maria is a mom to 3 boys, two of them still being teenagers.

If you know Maria you know that she is one of those “move out of my way, I got this” type of person. She struggles to ask for help, which is a huge reason why she hasn’t publicly talked much about her diagnosis.

Right now, she needs help more than ever !!

Between not being able to work, uncovered medical expenses and getting transportation to and from cooper Maria is struggling to keep up with the bills and is at risk of losing her house. She has applied for SSD, but has not received anything yet.

My Godmother is such a bright light to all who know her, especially those who have seen her be so hopeful and humble through this difficult trial !!

Let’s show Maria that we as a community will not let her fight this battle alone and that we will be with her every step of the way !
