Mark Valdez medical and funeral expense fund

A beautiful soul taken too soon. My oldest grandson Mark Valdez also known as Marky, was a 7th grader at Terrell Wells Middle school, a vibrant young man who enjoyed spending time with family, especially his brother's and cousins. Marky also enjoyed playing video games, just as any teenager does. However our lives will forever be changed by a senseless act on New Year's day. While in the comfort of his bedroom 13 year old Marky was hit by a bullet from an apparent drive by shooting. Lord knows Marky was not the target, but as in most senseless acts, he lost his life as a result.  Mark was rushed to the hospital, where we were told he had succumb to his injuries. Although his story is met with a tragic end,  we take comfort in knowing that Mark, being an organ donor will provide a second chance at life for 8 individuals.  As you can imagine this was completely unexpected, so we are asking if you have it to spare, please donate to help cover the cost of medical bills and funeral expenses for my grandson. He did not have life insurance. We would also like to ask that you keep our family in your prayers as this will be a tough road ahead.  Death is never easy, but the death of a child seems almost too much to bare.
