Mayra Judith Cruz Ruiz

Hello im Cindi, Mayras older sister. As you all have probably gathered from this, my sister Mayra sadly passed away in the early morning of February 21st in a car accident. This tragedy has been hard on my brothers since she was the only sister living with them and especially hard on my dad who works hard to take care of all three kids and provide food and a roof over their heads. Mayra was beautiful person inside and out. She had a caring personality and she always comforted and cared for everyone around her. It came naturally to Mayra as she had to take on the responsibility of taking care for my brothers when my mom left. Mayra was juggling trying to care for her brothers and trying to graduate all while holding a part-time job. She was able to graduate and continued to work but I couldn’t imagine it would've been easy. Mayra also enjoyed hanging out with her friends on her free time and would enjoy going out whether it was dinner dates or going to party but it was the distraction she needed. We would occasionally catch up on life and what we were up to. The last time I spoke with her we spoke of her new job she was looking forward to. I didn’t think it’d be the last time I’d speak to her but you never know how long you have until its too late. Im creating this gofundme to help my father with funeral and burial costs. We were adamant about starting this gofundme as my dad isn’t also the type to ask for help from others but any amount would help. I will provide updates on when and where the funeral will be held.
