21st Annual MEChA HS Conference

MEChA de LMU is committed to the empowerment of the Chicana/o-Latina/o community and believe that education and activism are the avenues for social change. We host a High School Conference every year as a means of empowering the youth in our local communities so that they may become the conscientious citizens and community leaders of tomorrow. The conference is put on by students for students, because we see it as our duty to encourage and inspire high school students as they begin to seek opportunities beyond the classroom.

The conference will include a keynote speaker, college mentors, workshops related to social issues, culture, and college preparedness (including admission and financial aid), entertainment, and more!
