Medical Costs For Sweet Heifer

From Heifer’s foster mom:

I sit here now, with my arms wrapped around Heifer, as I say my final goodbye She’s still purring, even though her body has begun shutting down and lymphoma has taken away the beautiful life that awaited ahead.

Just 10 days ago, we rescued Heifer from an animal control, where she lived in a cold stainless steel cage for months. We thought we were bringing her to freedom and a chance at a beautiful new life ahead. Little did we know that Heifer was silently suffering.

We tried to fight for her, we had hope that this was something that could be treated, but the reality was, there is nothing more that could be done Thankfully, CatNap allowed us to exhaust all efforts at diagnostics before coming to the tragic reality that the kindest thing to do is to end Heifer’s suffering.

This fundraiser is intended to recoup some of the costs CatNap From The Heart incurred for diagnostics and hospitalization for Heifer. It will also go toward medical care for future kitties like Heifer who need people like us to advocate for them.
