Plane crash survivor needs help
Hugo Betancourt was one of four people that on September 7, 2019 were on an airplane that was flying from Henderson Executive Airport in Las Vegas back home to San Diego. Due to unknown reasons, it needed to turn around and the plane plummeted about a half mile from the airport and crashed. Hugo fights for his life everyday as he remains in critical condition and the burns cover 95% of his body. Since the accident, Hugo has endured multiple surgeries, and will continue treatment with more surgeries, and many months of recovery. Due to the severity of his injuries, he must remain in a Las Vegas hospital where his family does not reside. His family travel from San Diego and Mexico to be with him and encourage him to fight for his life.
Some expenses that the family is unable to cover build as the treatments continues. Hugo is a 25 year old full of life, who is kind, generous, and a beloved son, brother, friend, and cousin. Hugo pelea por su vida a diario, ya que continúa en condición crítica y las quemaduras cubren 95% de su cuerpo. Hugo ha resistido varias cirugías, y tendrá que resistir multiples cirugías más, y muchos meses de recuperación. Debido a la severidad de sus heridas, debe permanecer en un hospital en Las Vegas, donde su familia no reside. Su familia viaja de México y de San Diego para estar con él y alentarlo a seguir luchando por su vida.
Los gastos que la familia no puede solventar se acumulan mientras el tratamiento sigue. Será una batalla larga y difícil antes que Hugo pueda regresar a su hogar. Hugo es un joven de 25 años lleno de vida, amable, generoso y un querido hijo, hermano, amigo, y primo. Se graduó de la universidad NBU en Oita, Japón y su sueño es ser piloto.
