<div>Neuroblastoma is a cancer that develops from immature nerve cells found in several areas of the body.  They commonly arise in and around the adrenal glands and sits atop the kidneys.  A child’s survival rate depends on many factors, particularly the risk of grouping of the tumor.  Neuroblastoma starts in very early forms of nerve cells most often found in an embryo or fetus.  It is also the most common extra cranial solid tumor of infancy.
