Medical repatriation for Michael Welsh

Hi everyone, I am raising funds for my friend Michaels medical repatriation from Greece to England. Michael suffered a broken hip and collar bone after a Quad Bike accident during a holiday in Kefalonia. While turning a corner on the quad bike he slid and ended up going down a hill/ditch and rolling the quad bike resulting in a concussion and a cut that required stitches as well as a broken hip and collar bone.

Currently, he is bed bound and has had his leg braced which he is required to do for at least 6 weeks. We are desperately trying to get him back home to England and get him the best possible medical treatment he needs to start his rehabilitation. He is able to fly but due to the insurance company refusing to pay out we are looking to try to fundraise to help alleviate the financial burden.

The cheapest quote we have been given for this is £12.5k. Any additional funds raised beyond the target goal will go to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. Please can I ask everyone to help us raise this amount and share this page with all your friends and family. Thank you in advance. Alex Fisher
