My name is Daniela Tejada, I just turned 14 last month, and I have decided to create this GoFundMe campaign to help Raymundo, Jhon, Cielo and Natalia. These 4 children are in critical condition and desperately need our help!

When I was 9 years old, I created Meds4Kidz Foundation to raise money to buy medicine for children in need. Together with my sister Ariela, who is now 8, we work hard to raise funds to be able to provide medicines for children in Bolivia, our mom’s home country. Bolivia is a third world country with extreme poverty, where underprivileged children die out of poverty because their parents can’t afford a few dollars to buy a medicine to save their lives.

With the foundation we have been able to help a lot of children, as we have organized fun runs at a local park and our friends and neighbors come to support and help. However, we have realized that we need to raise much more funds to be able to save these children and make a real impact on their well being. They need so much help as not only is their medical situation critical and they need medicines urgently, but they also need more medical equipment to make adequate treatment possible.

This year we raised money to buy all the medicines for the children at Hogar de Dios. This is a shelter that cares for children with brain paralysis and other severe health complications. It is heart-wrenching to see the kids bedridden and suffering, but at the same time it is a beautiful feeling to know that we can make a difference and help ease their suffering, improve their living conditions, and save their lives.

We visited Hogar de Dios in April and we were able to donate all the medicines the children needed. However, this left us with no money, and yesterday we received a call from the shelter asking if we could help with medication because they have these 4 kids that are in critical condition and need more help than the rest.

Ariela and I have been brainstorming about how to do this, and then we realized that our mom has asked us so many times to pray together for someone that is suffering from cancer or had a tragedy, and when we ask who the person is, we realize she has heard of them through a gofundme or online fundraiser sent by a friend. Even though she may not know them personally, she wants to help out and makes a donation. That is when we realized the answer is here!! So we got all excited and started investigating how we could put a campaign together to help. We want to raise as much money as possible to help Raymundo, John, Cielo and Natalia and hopefully be able to help all the children in the shelter in need of medicines and medical treatment.

With your help we will be able to buy ALL the medicines they desperately need and the medical supplies and equipment that they are lacking!! Please help us by making a donation. Everything helps and you will make a big difference and save lives.

Mom always tells us that when we have problems or are having a bad day, we need to help someone that is suffering and that we will feel better and realize that we are healthy and have no real problems compared to those that are sick and suffering from illnesses.

We count with your help! Meds4kidz Foundation Inc. is an established non-profit organization in the state of Florida. 100% of your donation goes to buy medicines and medical supplies and equipment for children in need. We don’t use a cent of the donations to organize our activities or fundraising efforts. Every single dollar you donate will go directly and entirely to the children that need medical attention.

And please see below some pictures of the children we want to help and see a little of their life stories.

This is Raymundo, he is currently 4 years old. He is one of the children at the orphanage who suffers from brain paralysis and also has a severe curvature of the spine. He is almost always in pain due to the position he has to lie in to breathe, and getting a smile out of him is enough to light up anyone's day.

This boy is John Gustavo. Although it is hard to believe, He is 15 years old and is one of the most severe cases in the orphanage.  Due to his brain paralysis, John also suffers from a multitude of different illnesses, including a cleft lip and cleft palate. He has been in the hospital for 10 days due to the severity of his situation. We need to help John as soon as possible. Please help us ease his suffering.

This is Natalia. She was abandoned outside the shelter days before Christmas in 2011 when she was only 2 years old. She suffers from brain paralysis and severe respiratory issues that only allow her to breathe through her mouth with much difficulty. She makes a constant rasping sound that breaks your heart. She needs surgery and a lot of help.

Due to their inability to walk or use almost any of their motor skills, the children in the orphanage spend most of their time in wheelchairs or in their recreation room (pictured above). We would love to be able to provide the kids with all the medical equipment they need to make their lives as easy as possible.

These children deserve better than what they have been given in life and it is our mission to do whatever we can to help. We hope to share our cause with you and drastically improve the lives of all these children.

Thank you so much for your support, we really appreciate it!!!
