Memorial Bench for Sally Anne Caunter

On Friday, June 14th, 2014, hearts were heavy as we received the heartbreaking news of Sally Anne Caunter's passing. Sally Anne courageously battled cancer for over 5 years with unwavering strength and bravery.

Sally Anne's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her, especially her family.

She was a remarkable friend to many and positively impacted the lives of numerous children during her dedicated years in education.

For 15 years, Sally Anne served as the beloved head teacher at Barkston & Syston CE Primary School, where she was the heart and soul of the school, leaving a lasting impression on many pupils, parents and colleagues.

In remembrance of Sally Anne, we are raising funds for a memorial bench at Barkston & Syston Cricket Field. This bench will serve as a place for her family, friends, former students, and colleagues to gather, reflect, and cherish the memories shared with her.

Our goal is to purchase the bench from Roll and Scroll in Grantham with the funds raised.

We humbly ask for donations from those willing to contribute to this meaningful tribute, honoring Sally Anne's incredible legacy and all that she achieved.
