Memorial Bench in Celebration of Quan Le's Legacy

I’m reaching out to help raise funds for a dedication bench in memory of Quan Le—a beloved father, husband, friend, colleague, musician, and dedicated music teacher.

After over six years on the waiting list, we received wonderful news last Thursday that a bench has become available in North Glenmore Park. This bench, chosen by a small group of Quan’s close work friends and myself, will be located near the storm pond on the north side of the park, right by the main entrance. It faces west, offering a beautiful view of the pond.

This spot is especially meaningful as it’s within walking distance of Calgary Girls Charter School, where Quan profoundly impacted the lives of both students and staff.

The bench will take approximately six months to be completed for our memorial. Once we receive confirmation of its readiness, we’ll plan a ceremony to come together and celebrate Quan once more—a beloved presence in so many lives
