Memphis’ Journey with Goldenhar “A Rare Syndrome”
Donation protected
Memphis Franklin Micheal Rollin born February 17th 2018 - is resilient and a lover of life. Memphis has many medical complexities such as Goldenhar Syndrome, Stage 3 Kidney Failure and Arnold Chiari Malformation.
Memphis has had a long road these short four years of traveling to and from the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario; multiple surgeries and countless pokes and hospitalizations have already occurred. Memphis spends most of his life in hospital between Sault Ste Marie and Toronto. He continues to smile, showing his larger-than-life personality. Unfortunately, Memphis won't be free of hospital walls any time soon, as you can imagine; the trips, surgeries, and appointments come at a high cost. On June 7th, 2022, Memphis is scheduled to have a portion of his skull removed and a portion of his brain cauterized to make room for a brain stem herniation. This will require an extended stay of weeks in Toronto - Sick Kids Hospital. Travel, food, accommodations, and being off work to care for Memphis means Madison & Adam are left with no choice but to ask for help from the family, friends & community during this stressful time of need. It truly takes a village and the family appreciates any and all help and support during this time. Including prayers and healing-positive vibes. On behalf of Memphis and his family we would like to thank everyone in advance who is able to help out and support them in their time of need.
