<div>Yesterday 4/5 I spent all day from 11 am to 11 pm at the veterinary office with Minnie trying to figure out why she wasn’t doing well. My poor girl spent all day being poked and prodded but she remained her usual calm loving self the entire time. After many tests and being transferred from the vets office to a veterinarian hospital the vet was able to determine she is severely diabetic which is causing her to be dehydrated, lethargic, jaundice, and the list goes on..but regardless of this diagnosis she has a fighting chance.

<div>Unfortunately, the cost for the treatment she needs in order to survive is ridiculously expensive. They are asking for a deposit of $2900 and the total expected cost of her treatment could be around $3300. The reason I set the amount for $4000 is because the total cost could fluctuate depending on how well or poorly she does and if further meds are needed. The vet described it as a “fine tuning process”. She would need to be hospitalized through the weekend as they slowly administer the medication needed and adjusting it accordingly. Because of the outrageous cost on top of the outrageous cost of all the tests we opted to bring her home after receiving some IV fluids.

<div>My poor baby girl has a fighting chance and doesn’t deserve to die. She is fighting to stay alive and I want to give her the fighting chance to live. I know a GoFundMe for a cat may seem ridiculous to some, but she is not just a cat she is a member of our family
