Cockatoo Paul

Losing Cockatoo Paul has been a heartbreaking experience as he was truly loved by so many. A true Australian icon, this man and his bird has changed the lives of so many people and inspired thousands to connect to nature and learn more about the world they live in. Paul lived authentically and fearlessly, he was an inspiration to so many.

In dedication to Paul's legacy I promised him that I would continue the business (Australian Bush Survival School) we worked so hard to create together and ensure his bird lives a long and happy life on his property. I also promised Paul that his beautiful property would continue to be protected from clearing, fires, floods and invasive weeds to remain a wildlife haven for Australian native animals and rare plants. The funding received will go directly to cremation/funeral costs left with Paul's family and to cover the ongoing costs of his beloved bird Mr Pickles and to contribute to the continued enhancement of the property in Kangaroo Creek as Paul desired.

I am so grateful for all of the support that we have received to date. I don't think Paul realised just how many people will continue to share stories about him for plenty of years to come.

I love you so much Paul and will ensure your legacy lives on and the lessons you taught me will continue to be taught through our survival school for many years to come
